Bonjour from Morocco

By Morocco - Posted on 12 June 2009

DSC_0167We have arrived in Rabat safe and sound after a two hour delay in Cincinnati and a unique experierence on Royal Air Maroc.  Day 1 started off well with lunch with the colonel on the beach with our new family friends, Benjamin and Apollonaire; followed by a tour of the exquisite Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca.  Then we got on our bus and travelled to Rabat where we checked into our home for the next 7 days.  We are thankful to be here in Rabat, showered, fed, and exhausted.  Tomorrow we will visit Roman ruins in Vollubilis and the city of Meknes.

We continue to ask for your prayers as we travel and meet new friends in Morocco.

Love, Roy, Carol, Alecia, Wade, Ellie, Sara, Holly, Anna Kate, Matt, Jordan, Carly, and Anna

Thanks be to God...
for a church with a heart for missions...
for a Youth Minister who leads with vision...
for young people who will give of their time and energy...
makes a father/parishioner proud and grateful.
Love to Holly and all those with her.
Look forward to stories...

since he's the face on our refrigerator for prayers.  It is exhilarating to think of you seeing the great sights of the world.  We look forward to stories from your mission work.  Joe and Terri, aka Dad and Mom

I am so glad to see that you arrived safely. I will be checking back to see how things are going. Grace and Peace!

So glad you arrived safe and sound! Can't wait to hear about your flight experiences. We noticed that Benjamin is wearing his "Voices United" t-shirt - what a great guy! Thanks so much for the update - looking forward to reading more. Give our love to Helge, Marie-Jo, Benjamin, Michel and all the others! Mom/Kathy
