Sunday Bible Study, 9:40 am

Pre-schoolers, children and youth are taught by caring adults who use a Bible study curriculum that is Biblically based, developmentally appropriate, and pupil-centered.
Fourteen adult Bible study classes encourage participants to explore Scripture and grow in faith.

Highlights is a class offered for those seeking church membership or more information about the church and its programs.

Wednesday Gatherings

Highland gathers for dinner, prayer, study, and fellowship. Supper is served buffet style from 5:20-6:00 pm, when some of the programs listed below are offered for all ages. Click Here for Supper Menu

Pre-school - Children's Ministry

Our children and preschoolers stay active and involved through an excellent choir program, creative mission education, seasonal parties and fellowships, summer activities, summer camp and discipleship programs.

Adult Ministry

Following Wednesday's dinner, opportunities for spiritual and emotional growth, prayer, topical studies, and sanctuary choir are offered. Adults also come together throughout the year for classes on faith development, family life, book reviews, short-term Bible studies, and retreats. Mission activities encourage adults to become "salt and light" in the world. Here are our current classes.

Extend and Connect on Sunday evenings

Extend and Connect: the name says it all! This Sunday night series at Highland Baptist encourages participants to explore their faith more fully and provides an opportunity to connect more deeply with God (and with others at Highland Baptist).

  • Programming is from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
  • There will be nursery provided during this time, but a RESERVATION is necessary. Please sign up after worship outside the sanctuary or call the church office.
  • Dinner will be served and the cost is $5 per person or $15 per family.
  • Preschool and elementary children will have their own programming on the second floor in the children’s area.
  • Middle school and high school youth will have programming and also choir.

Highland Book Club

Highland's book club meets monthly for an enjoyable discussion of the book for that month. The group is very informal, meeting in the homes of various members of the group. Some people attend every month, others show up from time to time as they are able to get the book read, some show up even without reading the book simply to enjoy the conversation and fellowship.

Youth Ministry

Teenagers are an integral part of Highland's community. Sunday morning Bible study, Wednesday night group time, drama, mission trips, and recreational activities offer middle and high school youth Christian fellowship and a chance to develop and strengthen their beliefs.
