Making A Place

On November 14, 2004, the members of Highland Baptist Church made a place in their hearts for the future of Highland Baptist. They did so by committing support to the Making a Place Capital Campaign. With a goal of $1,141,899, pledges and gifts reached nearly 85 percent of the goal within three months, mirroring the enthusiastic commitment of the congregation. That enthusiasm has been renewed as we Make a Place for friends in our newly renovated fellowship hall,
and as our sanctuary takes shape to Make a Place for God in our hearts.
As the campaign banner shows, each time a colored square is added to Highland’s signature cross, we grow
closer to Making a Place for our future by ensuring that these facilities will continue to support our thriving
ministries. |
...Lord, grant us a vision of the needs of our church that fills us with your very love...![]() |

Fellowship Hall has been transformed with improved lighting and audio-visual systems, a renovated stage, new flooring and ceiling, and the installation of movable walls to create 10 new classrooms. Handicapped accessible restrooms also were added. |
